Exporting & item types

Zavimo gives you control over how your data is named and shared. You can export projects and customize the terminology used for items (like renaming “tasks” to “bugs” or “features”).

Exporting projects

To export a project:

1. Open the project
2. Click ⋯ button next to the project name
3. Select Export

The exported file includes tasks, fields, and values in CSV format—ideal for backups or external processing.

Custom item types

You can customize the default item type in any project to better match your workflow.

How it works:

• By default, items are called “task” (singular) and “tasks” (plural)
• You can change this to anything, such as:
  • Bug / Bugs
  • Feature / Features
  • Request / Requests

How to set:

1. Click the ⋯ button next to the project name
2. Select Change item type
3. Enter new singular and plural names

These names appear in:

• “Add task” buttons
• Group titles
• View labels
