Importing projects

Zavimo allows you to import entire projects using a CSV file. This is helpful when migrating from other tools or setting up complex structures quickly.

How to import

To import a project:

1. Click the + button at the level where you want the project to live (workspace, team, or folder).
2. Choose Import project.
3. Enter a project name and upload your .csv file.

Field mapping

Once your CSV is uploaded, you'll see a preview of the data and the option to map columns to fields.

• Map to existing built-in fields (e.g. task name, due date, status)
• Map to existing custom fields
• Or create new custom fields directly in the dialog

Tips for a clean import

• Make sure your CSV uses clear column headers
• Use consistent data types (e.g. dates in the same format)
• If using select or multi-select fields, match option names exactly

After import

• All imported tasks will appear in the new project
• You can edit or rearrange views and fields post-import
• You can immediately start working with filters, views, and automations
