Using and creating templates

Learn how to save and use templates for projects, tasks, and docs in Zavimo.

Templates

Templates help you move faster by reusing proven structures for projects, tasks, and documents. In Zavimo, you can create templates for common workflows and quickly launch them when needed.

What can be saved as a template?

You can save the following items as templates:

  • Projects - Includes all views, fields, automations, and optionally tasks
  • Tasks - Includes all fields and descriptions
  • Docs - Includes all content blocks and formatting

Saving a template

To save an item as a template:

  • Project: Click the next to the project name → Save as template
  • Task: Open the task detail or right-click the task → Save as template
  • Doc: Use the at the top-right of the doc → Save as template

Templates are stored in your workspace and can be reused when creating new content.

Using a template

When creating a new item (project or doc):

  1. Open the Add New dialog (click the + button)
  2. Choose a template from your saved list
Templates are especially useful for recurring workflows like bug tracking, meeting notes, onboarding checklists, and campaign planning.
