View options

Each view in Zavimo comes with its own set of options to help you customize how information is displayed and interacted with. These settings can be accessed via the Options button in the top-right corner of most views.

Views that support options

The Options button is available in:

  • List view
  • Board view
  • Calendar view
  • Timeline view

Field management (List & Board Only)

In List and Board views, the Options menu lets you:

  • Show or hide built-in and custom fields
  • Reorder fields in the task layout
  • Create new custom fields
  • Edit existing fields
  • Lock fields (if you have permission)

Fields cannot be managed from Timeline or Calendar views—those use the Options menu for visual settings only.

Display settings

Each view offers visual options such as:

  • Show completed tasks toggle
  • Coloring options:
    • Default (overdue tasks in red)
    • Status-based (tasks use their status color)
    • Custom field-based (e.g., color by priority)
    • No color

These controls help tailor how work appears, especially in large or complex projects.

Locking views

  • Full-access users in a project can lock/unlock views
  • Team owners can do the same for team-level views

A locked view:

  • Cannot be renamed, deleted, or edited by others
  • Can still be used and interacted with
