Forms

In this article

Learn how to collect structured information using forms in Zavimo and how they connect to task fields.

Forms

Forms in Zavimo help you collect structured input from teammates, clients, or external users. Each response creates a task in the associated project.

Where forms live

Forms are a type of view, available only inside projects. Each form maps directly to the fields of that project.

Adding questions

Click + Add question to build your form. Each question maps to a built-in or custom field:

  • Built-in fields: Task name, description, due date, etc.
  • Custom fields: Select, number, email, attachments, etc.

You can add file upload questions that allow users to attach documents or images as part of their submission.

Form options

Click the Options button (top-right) to configure:

  • Privacy:
    • Anyone can access
    • Workspace only
  • Default assignee
  • Default status
  • Confirmation message
  • Submit button text
You can customize the form to match your intake process by using required fields and default values.

Permissions

Since forms live inside projects, they follow project-level permissions. Users with edit access to the project can modify the form.
